Unlike a long day trip, this short break lets you experience Shekhawati at a leisurely pace. Once a major stop on the Silk Route, the region became home to wealthy Marwari merchants who built lavishly frescoed havelis.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Jaipur to Mandawa - The Heritage Town

Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel in Jaipur. Travel together by private AC car to Mandawa (approx. 3.5 hrs). Your guide will share stories of Shekhawati and Rajasthan en-route. On arrival in Mandawa, check-in to your heritage haveli hotel and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink inside a historic haveli. Then set off on foot with your guide to explore Mandawa’s most famous havelis adorned with intricate frescoes depicting mythological tales, royal life and folk stories. Evening at leisure to soak in the royal heritage of your hotel.

Day 2: Mandawa to Jaipur via Nawalgarh

After breakfast, check-out and drive to Nawalgarh with your guide (approx. 30 mins), considered to have the finest and best-preserved frescoes in Shekhawati. Enjoy a guided walking tour of its stunning havelis like Morarka Haveli, Poddar Haveli Museum and Aath Haveli Complex. After the tour, enjoy a comfortable private drive back to Jaipur and be dropped off at your hotel by 6:00 PM.
