What will you do

Meet the skilled local artisans and see their beautifully hand-carved wooden blocks up close. This textile tour is a first-hand introduction to the art of block printing. We’ll walk you through the entire process — from carving the blocks and printing with vibrant, eco-friendly dyes to the final washing that brings the colours to life.

By the end of the tour, you’ll have a clear understanding of the technique. Then it’s your turn — try your hand at printing your own scarf using traditional blocks and colours, and take your hand-printed creation home as a unique souvenir.
